Be Ethical Training uses the investor-led reporting framework known as ESG as a guide for small to medium enterprises (SMEs) to engage and celebrate their employee’s contributions to their environmental, social and governance activities in the workplace and at home.

 

Evidencing a business’s impact in this way demonstrates an authentic culture of responsibility and its resilience for the long term, supporting its sustainability and growth.

 

Be Ethical Training work with SMEs to engage their workforce in understanding how ESG relates to them. To inspire them to come forward as volunteers and advocates to develop and celebrate a business’s work across these areas.

 

NOTE: Be Ethical Training is not an ESG rating or data provider; it simply uses ESG to get businesses clear on what they are already doing and how they might improve, evidence and share that information. This is to support them in becoming ESG compliant for the future, saving them time and money in the long run. 

1. ENGAGE

 

Engage your entire workforce, from the ground up in less than 30 minutes. This introduction to ESG is a great start in encouraging a responsible business culture and championing best practice in the workplace and at home.

 

Includes a short questionnaire to test staff learning, a survey to gather feedback, together with an ESG Guide for employees to take away. We will also provide an email template, QR code and presentation slides to maximise engagement across your teams. 

2. IDENTIFY

 

Identify your current ESG position with your leadership team, in a 2hr workshop.

 

Includes an external ESG audit, competitor analysis and an overview of your employee engagement and feedback (from step 1). Plus a recommendations report to take forward into step 3.

 

This step is great to engage your senior team’s buy-in and evidence why changes must be made to move your ESG forward.

3. BUILD

 

Build your ESG messaging for internal and external channels by using our templates, tools and training to guide you.

 

A great way to celebrate the activities and behaviours you currently have, together with your ESG commitments for the future.

 

Includes guidance on creating your own promotional videos and guides to take forward into your own internal training, inductions or recruitment pages or to include on your next bid or tender.

CONTINUE 

 

 To continue an ESG culture, all businesses (on completion of these three steps) will be invited to become a Be Ethical Member.

This includes access to our ESG Hotline, Champion training, monthly coaching, resources and regular LIVE expert sessions, to share across its teams for ESG accountability and continuous improvement.
